Robert Powell has had a forty-year career as an actor ranging from Doomwatch, Jesus of Nazazreth and The Detectives on television; to Tommy, Mahler and The Thirty-nine Steps in film; to the RSC and Alan Bennett’s Single Spies in the theatre.  He has won and been nominated for many awards including British Academy of Film & Television Arts (BAFTA) and best Actor at the Paris and Venice Film Festivals.
