Main theatre

The main theatre is an invaluable asset to actor training. With 140 raked seats, this space is used for in-house and public performances.

Studio theatre

The studio theatre seats up to 150 and can be configured in a variety of ways including in-the-round. The theatre is blacked and can be used for TV, film and dance performances. It is a stunning space.

The library

The Library is an oasis of learning, where we specialize in the Performing Arts. We have Plays both current and old; also from all over the world, in places as diverse as china! There are theoretical books on Acting, Stagecraft, Alexander Technique, Voice, Monologues for that imminent audition, CDs to listen to that song you heard at the show last evening, music scores to “peruse” at your leisure, award winning films you missed at the cinema, but can now see on DVD, or you can watch a past Student Production from as far back as 1988! We even provide the equipment for you to view and listen to these items on the premises. However, if you are more interested in how a film is made, there is the Media section or you may want to wax lyrical in our poetry section and for a little nostalgia, there is the History section not only in book form, but also on Video and DVD. There are computers to research on, if you do not prefer the personal touch. I could go on; but would rather you come and savour the delights we have on offer 6 days a week. Come and see us; we are situated in the house adjacent to the canteen. Both Tara and I look forward to see you and assisting you in your endeavours in the Performing Arts and beyond…………

I was astounded at the quality of acting at the ArtsEd Screen Showcase 2010. The pieces were well selected and beautifully put together. What a wonderful opportunity for a training professional. I can honestly say it was the best actors screen showcase I have seen, I could quite easily cast any one of the actors involved.
