BA FOR THE MODERN ACTOR

ARTS EDUCATIONAL SCHOOLS LONDON today announced a newly developed course for the modern actor – their BA HONS ACTING FOR FILM AND TELEVISION.
ArtsEd has worked with industry experts, and is now the first drama school to redesign its course, to fit the demands made on actors in the twenty first century.
MORE THAN A PLAY: STUDENTS DEPICT ‘THE COLOUR OF JUSTICE’

During its run at the Tricycle Theatre in the late 90’s Richard Norton-Taylors ‘The Colour of Justice’ was widely touted as the most vital piece of theatre on a London stage. Ten years later and the issues encapsulated within the play are still rife within our society; this makes the play just as relevant as it was ten years ago. From the 17th to the 20th February, 2010, third year BA Acting students from Arts Educational School London will become the first drama school students to have ever performed the play; this is another prestigious honour for the school.

On the 5th of December 2009 ArtsEd will commemorate the career of Jackie Bristow, and continue to celebrate what has proved to be 90 outstanding years of achievement at the school at London’s hottest new venue ‘Grace’.

Acting students from Arts Educational School London have showcased some of the talents developed at the school by producing a stunning display of Reuben Johnson’s ‘Territory’ at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Along with the praise and respect of their peers and industry professionals alike, they also came home with some of the events most prestigious awards.
