Co-Ordinator of Musical Theatre BTEC
PERFORMING ARTS SPECIALIST – BTEC Level 3 Musical Theatre

Arts Educational Schools London is seeking to appoint, from September 2010, an outstanding teacher to organise and oversee the newly devised BTEC Level 3 in Musical Theatre at one of the Country’s leading Performing Arts schools. This post will be demanding and challenging, and will be central to the further development of the school and its associated activities.

The successful candidate will be expected to oversee the organisation of the Musical Theatre Sixth Form course, in conjunction with staff from the internationally renowned Higher Education School of Musical Theatre. This extremely important new post is suitable for an inspirational teacher who has had experience of organizing and delivering BTEC Level 3 in any discipline of the Performing Arts. The ability to teach dance to a high level would be a significant advantage.

The post offers a unique opportunity to work with highly talented young people, in an environment which is both dynamic and stimulating. Working alongside some of the finest teachers in the country, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to help to shape the development of the school’s fast growing and highly successful Sixth Form.

Art Teacher - Part Time KS3 -KS5

Details

Arts Educational Schools London is seeking to appoint, from September 2009, a fully qualified Art specialist to join an outstanding department at one of the Country’s leading Performing Arts schools. This post will be exciting and rewarding, and will be central to the further development of the art department and its associated activities.

The successful candidate will teach a percentage of the art classes within the school, mainly in Key Stages 3 and 5.  They will also run a Gifted and Talented class for KS3 students. They will be required to teach a range of disciplines rather than their focus being one specialism.  The person appointed should have an excellent knowledge of contemporary art practice and ideally will be a practitioner in their own right.

This post is an important appointment in the Pupils Department within Arts Educational Schools London, and the person appointed must have a balance of professional and academic skills in order to ensure that the work of the school remains amongst the best in the United Kingdom.

Drama Teacher KS3 -KS5

Arts Educational School is seeking to appoint a fully qualified Drama specialist for September 2010. This post will be demanding and challenging, and will be central to the further development of the school and its associated activities.

Opportunities exist to innovate and extend the current provision, and the post is ideally suited to an energetic, enthusiastic, dynamic and visionary teacher who wants to work with highly talented young people. Arts Educational School prides itself on its excellent drama teaching and the position would require commitment and a passion for drama.

The successful candidate will have high standards and expectations and a proven ability to reach across the full age and curriculum range from KS3 up to and including KS5.
